That's tough to say. Some shops/artists charge by the tattoo itself and not the time it takes. Some shops and artists charge strictly by the hour. We do both, just talk with your artist. Some will manipulate you and overcharge, but we’re nothing like that. We are a different kind of studio. Made for the people!! We are POSITIVE you won't have that issue with us... these things hurt a bit, so we try to get in and out and send you on your way with a beautiful, new piece of art on you.
Ihave found over the last 10-15 years, that you will ABSOLUTELY get what you pay for in this industry. These things are permanent! It's best to save and be ready than it is to try to find the cheapest deal. Quality will be noticeable a lot longer than the extra money spent.
All of that being said, we know tattoos can be expensive, so talk to usI We will work with any and all clients!
Hopefully this kinda makes sense, pricing for tattoos is not an exact science, so always be prepared for more than you think you'll need, so there is no issue with it at the end of your session.
It would be AWESOME of you to leave a tip for your tattoo, especially if you know that we / the artist took their time and put in all their effort to give you an exceptional experience. However, IT IS ALWAYS APPRECIATED, BUT NEVER EXPECTED.
As far as the amount for the tip? Most folks sorta look at it using restaurant tip logic. 15% - 25% is common. However, ANYTHING is appreciated. We love to accept client's artwork or stuff that they have made, or really any cool gifts are appreciated! You all are our people, so don't ever put tipping us over doing what you've gotta do. We will love, appreciate and respect the hell out of you forever simply by trusting us to make art on your skin.
Yes, we do offer walk-in appointments for smaller tattoos, subject to availability. However, we highly recommend booking an appointment in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your request at a time that works for you. The majority of our artists book out a couple weeks at a time with some small random openings here and there. Some books further out. We are working on being able to accommodate more walk-ins, as the business continues to grow and grow.
Yes, touch ups are available one year after the tattoo is completed. It is best to contact the artist who performed the tattoo to discuss touch ups and when to do them.
This is up to the artist that you are working with. Some of us will tattoo minors from the age of 16 on WITH parent consent. Some of us will not tattoo anyone under the age of 18. Just ask your artist! IF YOU ARE A MINOR AND ARE GETTING TATTOOED, BE SURE TO;
* BRING YOUR PHOTO ID (school, driver license, passport, etc...)
* BRING YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE
* THE PARENT COMING WITH YOU MUST HAVE THE SAME LAST NAME AS YOU DO ON YOUR ID, OR THEIR NAME MUST BE ON YOUR BIRTH CERTIFICATE.
* IF SOMEONE WHO ISN'T A PARENT HAS CUSTODY OF YOU, WE WILL NEED YOU TO BRING THAT CUSTODY PAPERWORK.
We love it when clients bring a friend. If it makes you feel more comfortable or at ease, then by all means! Most of us enjoy the conversation with folks just as much as the tattoo itself. However, it can be incredibly distracting and counter productive to bring friends that will try to tell us, as the professionals, what to do. Often times, clients will bring a friend that only has one or two tattoos, and they will correct the artist on placement, size, composition and so forth. We assure you, we know what we are doing and will give you the best possible tattoo we can, in the best place you have available.
So bring someone with you, sure!!! We love to meet new people and talk about cool stuff!! Plus, We want you to have the best time humanely possible getting your tattoo, so by all means!!!
HOWEVER, PLEASE do not bring anyone that is going to be distracting or try to be too involved in the process. If it becomes a distraction, we will have to politely ask the guest to wait outside or in the lobby.
YES! We definitely do cover ups. Depending on the difficulty, and the style, we will make sure you're with the right artist for the job. We will do our absolute best to turn any old tattoo that you are not happy with into a new, awesome tattoo that you can be proud of wearing!
When it comes to tattooing over scars, it is 100% a case by case basis. It depends on how old the scars are, how deep the initial cuts were, how much scar tissue is there, etc... So just get ahold of us and we can go from there!
